Rick Chiantaretto is a student at Weber
State University
where he is studying computer science and English. His first book of fiction, Façade of
Shadows, (a novel about vampires and Egyptian legend) has landed him a
publishing contract with American Book Publishing. He is a regular volunteer at
the Utah Humanities Council (where his favorite work is helping with the Great
Salt Lake Book Festival), and is a member of the League of Utah Writers He is a writer of horror and dark fantasy,
with a flair for satire. A native of West Valley City Utah, Rick stays busy with his love for technology,
and hopes for a career in computer security - that is - if he doesn't become a
best-selling author first.
