How I handle quotes

Feel free to e-mail me for general rate information. My rates depend on the extent and type of editing required. For a quote, please e-mail two to three pages of your document to erin@lucidink.us. Include the total word count, the type of editing desired, and any deadline or style requirements. Word format is preferred, but I can also work with other software programs and even hard copy.

Genres/types of writing

My substantial writing and editing experience in state government, education and the private sector has given me a broad range of expertise. I edit both fiction and non-fiction, including books, articles, research reports, and marketing materials. As a fiction writer myself, I've spent years studying the craft and have a good sense of what works in a story or novel. My major areas of non-fiction experience are the environment, land use, politics, and spirituality. I also have a strong interest and background in psychology. But no matter the subject, if you can write it, I can edit it!

Years of experience

I have over five years of professional writing and editing experience, though I've been a writer from a young age.
