Excerpt:

In your arms
feel the pain flow through
winding its torturous path
down the passage of my being
struggling to grasp the flickering
darkness behind my bright smile
wanting to be pulled back
from the ledge I stand on
ever so faintly seeing
the streaming tears
longing to stem their flow
not quite knowing how
lest the harden heart dissolve
from a everlasting touch
watching my world crumble
right before my eyes
as the ashes of my fate
slowly dance the night away
